At Lexus of Vaughan, we believe that you should stay relaxed and safe throughout your journey. While exploring the latest Lexus models from our new inventory, you will find that they offer the Lexus Safety System+, a suite of safety options that keep you safe and protected during drives. Depending on the model year Lexus you opt for, you will access either the LSS+, LSS+ 2.0, LSS 2.5+, LSS+ A, or LSS+ 3.0. Although the newer models will have the most advanced safety options available, you can rest assured that driving a Lexus will keep you and your loved ones protected during every drive. This suite of available features integrates four active safety systems that help you manoeuvre through traffic jams, keep you at a safe distance and react with lightning speed in hazardous situations.

Meanwhile, select new Lexus models are equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, available on many of our newer models. LSS+ 2.5 introduced on the 2021 Lexus IS, further enhances safety features, such as pre-collision, lane tracing assist and dynamic radar cruise control. Finally, LSS+A is exclusively designed for the Lexus LS, which is our most sophisticated system yet.

PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION:

All Lexus models with LSS+ get a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection. This unique feature monitors vehicles and pedestrians in front of your Lexus. If the system determines a high probability of impact, it issues a warning. If a collision is determined to be unavoidable, our system automatically applies brakes and can bring your Lexus to a full stop to eliminate or reduce the risk of a crash.

PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM WITH PEDESTRIAN (DAYTIME & LOW-LIGHT) & DAYTIME BICYCLE PROTECTION:

Much like our Pre-Collision System for Lexus Safety System +, this update has been enhanced. Allowing for better pedestrian detection during low light or daylight, as well as cyclists in daytime situations.

LANE DEPARTURE ALERT WITH STEERING ASSIST:

Our Lane Departure Alert system reads the road ahead, tracing lane markers and recognizing if your vehicle is deviating from its current lane. You will receive a signal to take action with both an audible alert and steering wheel vibration. The steering assist function will also gently steer you back into your driving lane and out of harm's way.

LANE TRACING ASSIST:

This safety feature brings improved lane marking recognition and lane centering capabilities, when Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is activated. Together, these systems work to prevent collisions or accidents.

INTELLIGENT HIGH BEAMS:

Two different Automatic High Beam systems are available for Lexus models, including Automatic High Beam Headlamps and Intelligent High Beam Headlamps. Whether you opt for the Lexus Safety System + or the Lexus Safety System 2.0, this intelligent system reacts to oncoming headlamps or preceding tail lamps, automatically switching from high-beam to low-beam and then back again to provide optimal viability without blinding other drivers.

DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL:

No matter the speed your moving, this feature slows down your Lexus once it detect another vehicle too close ahead. It can even bring your vehicle down to 0km/h, and resume from a complete stop. You can also benefit from an array of features that support the High-Speed or All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, such as Road Sign Assist.

HIGH-SPEED DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL:

This system is designed to maintain a preset speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of yours. Designed for speeds of 40k/h to 180km/h, this safety feature ensures that once you get closer to the vehicle in front, the throttle is reduced and your brakes are applied if necessary. Also, you can opt for a Lexus with All-Speed Dynamic Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management, which can help you enjoy a smooth highway cruise.
